Date:
Sat, 03/20/2010 - 8:30am - 10:00am
- Our class this Saturday is a chance to welcome in where you’ve been this week.........
all the highlights and lowlights.........
the challenges and triumphs...........
all the places you remembered who you were..........
and the times you forgot who you were.........
- The Purposeless Purpose:
Weekly Kula practice is a time to integrate, to catch up with yourself, your spiritual allies and teacher............
a time to feel and sense how your week’s experiences affected your body, mind, spirit...........
How did your intention help to guide you?
When did the feelings overtake the intention?
Now is the time to return back home to yourself............
Now is the time to experience everything imbued in Presence
where all........ is.......... well.........
You are significant.
How you spend your time and energy matters.
It matters to you, to me, to the people in your life and actually to everyone on the planet.
Don't let the conceptual mind trivialize you or your decisions.
Sit down in this circle
and claim your place in the spirit of being..........

Spring I 2009 - Session Times and Details
This class is part of the Spring I 2010 session of Saturday Morning Yoga. This is a series of 8 classes from February 27th to April 17th, and all classes are held at The Beautiful Space.
Class Agenda
This class is appropriate for anyone ready to call off the search for some state outside of oneself and experience one's completeness right now. This session we are working with understanding the nature of the mind.
Our time together will include:
- Individual time to 'welcome' oneself to the class
- Invocational chanting
- Sankalpa (setting intention)
- Philosophy of Yoga taught through Satsanga the sharing of the wisdom teachings
- Integrative exercises of sensation - experienced in dyads to ground the concepts of Yoga Nidra
- Grounding asana (posture) practice
- Body-sensing (a form of Hatha Yoga)
- Yoga Nidra - a transforming process in which we systematically uncover and discard our self-limiting beliefs leading us to lasting healing and restoring us to innate wholeness.
I find any seasonal or personal transition to be a great time to follow Ramana Maharishi's essential teaching:
Be Still.......and know.........
We'll use this teaching as the underlying foundation from which one's self-inquiry in the unqualified nondual tradition will sprout from.
On behalf of all the students and teachers of Kula Yoga, we'd love to invite you to join our circle in the spirit and practice of moving into stillness from which all sensation arises, unfolds and dissolves back into.
